Location: Near a local lake (is that too vague? >.>; )
Time: Early evening/shortly before sunset
Recap: Upon her recent arrival in Konoha, Akane decides to take a bit of time to think about what she's planning to do now that she's there. She decides that the lakeside would be a nice place to sit and think..
Warnings: None [so far at least]
Akane sat near the edge of the water, looking out across it. She smiled softly to herself as the signs of sunset started to paint the horizon, and she zipped her sweater up a bit against the soft chill of the evening. She let her gaze fall back to the surface of the water with it's rippled reflection of the sky. If only everything could be this peaceful.., she thought to herself with a wistful sigh.
She'd come to Konoha in order to reunite with her best friend, right? So.. why was she wasting her time sitting around? She was sure Miku would be glad to see her.. it was just.. well, she wasn't sure what it was, but something was stopping her. Sure, she could find her easily enough, that wasn't the problem. It's just been so long.. people change over time.., she decided that had to be it, the fear that they'd both changed, it wouldn't be the same. "That's silly," she muttered quietly as she picked up a small stone from next to her, skipping it across the water's surface. We could never change so much that we'd no longer be friends.. Not us.
[[I hope this is okay..]]
